Hyvää päivää!!! Hy everybody from Finnland!! In the next few days the european topwakeboarders gather in Ukkohalla/FIN to check out who´s number one in Europe.

A good time to make a short diary to keep everybody well informed who cannot come to this fantastic country. The European Championships 2009 are going to be held in Ukkohalla in the very center of Finnland. 500 km north of the capital Helsinki, where I arrived today.

Day began very soon, 6 am I had to leave my girlfriend and make my way to the Munich airport. Fortunately I met Florian Keim, the other Masters rider from my cable. I thought he was fliing in the evening with the other guys from Southgermany Sandro Reinhardt, Nicki Guehrs and Wolfram Wagner. So it was a big surprise to meet him at the airport. Plane took off at 10:20 am and we had a not too confortable flight.

Arriving in Helsinki at 13:50 the next surprise waited for me. Eva Koch was on the same plane that I was. But she took a connection flight to Oulu later and Flo and me already booked a hotel in Helsinki. We took a bit of time to have a travel downtown of Helsinki. A very old, industrial and impressing city with loads of street coffees, shops, malls and parks.

Later that afternoon we made our way to our hotel wich looks more than a youth hostel. After checking in, we decided to watch the beautiful lake besides. Kind of romantic, if my girlfriend was with me (sorry flo )

No tower, no power
