Loading ...Now when the weekend is over everything seems so far away, but it seems like it was lasted way longer than 4 days. I came back home full of impressions, from the tricks, riders, organizations and most of all some new friendship.
We started our trip at Friday morning. My trip fever is becoming too often. Of course I couldn’t sleep whole night. I couldn’t wait morning to come so I can start my trip to Holland, Down Under cable and Protest cable call, stop of WWA Wake Park World Series.
500 points worth competition started on Friday with a training on Aqua Ski cable in Belgrade, Serbia. For us with late arrival time with big “maxi gurmanska”, best grill ever eaten. We went late for a sleep, but this didn’t stop us to wake up early for warming up before the qualifications. Around 40 riders from 7 countries came to fight for 3500 Euro cash prize and as much points they can get in 6 categories (Junior Men, Junior Ladies, Open Men, Open Ladies and Masters).
It was to go or not to go… I was afraid, if I start to hit competitions again, that I won’t be able to resist them any more. Decision came at 10 in the evening day before… And it was right one… You ask me why? Cuz my heart started beating like 2 years ago… sun… lake… cable… and friends I didn’t see for ages… We came there Friday morning, cable was closed because of the course which Austrian federation had in that moment. After wakeboarding we decided to go to Antalya in six hundred years old Turkish bath wjere we had really good time. After we went for a walk and visiting old town. Nelly was photographing bananas and old walls of Antalya harbour, others where looking where we can smoke a Hookah pipe and we found one interesting cafe with a lots of pipes and Bob Marley music.
