BUCS Uniwake Student Nationals 22.-25. June

The BUCS Uniwake Student Nationals return for a 4 day festival of competition and fun next week in Sheffield. Over 100 competitors will converge on Rother Valley Country park and Sheffield Cable ski to compete for Boat and Cable Titles. More than 15 universities are expected to attend which shows the huge growth of the sport across the Uk. Top names from the sport will be attending, with previous winners Mat Price and Liu Batchelor back to defend their titles, though with British Cable Team member CK Koester competing this year will be tougher at the top than ever before!

Ethos

This event has grown from a simple and small event to one of the largest events in Europe because of it’s loyalty to the ethos of fun competition and rider development. Pillars which the organizing committee feel that Uniwake is built on. By holding on to these values we can encourage participation in the competitive aspect of our sport, whilst holding on to the reason the majority of people wakeboard: For fun.
