BASE Soelden is a QPark now!

Finally its time – The fantastic resort of Soelden gets a QPark this season! That means a sophisticated setup and snowpark- conception and perfect quality from the first day of the season to the last. Up to 8 snowguns ensure a perfect snowcondition in the Park! QParks is the biggest player in snowparks in the German speaking European regions. 11 exceptional snowparks from Lower Austria to Graubunden in eastern Switzerland are built and maintained under this label. In Cooperation with the high motivated liftcompany of Soelden, QParks will build up a professional Freestylecentre at the Giggijoch in Soelden in the upcoming years. A lot of things are planned for the following seasons in the Otztal- Watch out!
BASE Soelden


Directly at the modern Chairlifts Hainbachkar and Silberbrünnl, the BASE snowpark with a size of ca. 6 hectare comes up with top shaped obstacles for beginners, intermediates and pros. There will be different Kickers, Corners and Tables, a lot of Rails, a nice Chill-Area with music and an own funpark for the kids.

As every QPark, the BASE Soelden is maintained every day of the season. The
Landlord is still Rudi Wyhlidal – Jürgen Kipperer and Renè Schnöller worked together
with him in the conception of the park.

Due to the huge amount of possibilities, the winter-resort Soelden has become an international hotspot for Film- and Photoproductions and their crews during the last years. Beside the normal shootings, there have been many special shootings, thanks to the excellent encouragement of Soelden! A prominent example is the so called Cube Shooting from the Swiss Starphotographer Gian Paul Lozza. The remarkable actionshots with the cube have gone around the world and found their way on to the covers of the most important Snowboardmagazines out there
